Delete your Primal Defender mobile app account and personal data

Account and Data Deletion Process

You can delete your Primal Defender mobile app account and all associated personal data either through the app itself or by contacting support. This process is permanent and cannot be undone.

⚠️ Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your progress data, assessments, and connections within the Primal Defender community.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:

  • Your account profile and login credentials
  • All progress tracking data across the 6 levels and 11 domains
  • Assessment results and personal notes
  • Community connections and messages
  • Email preferences and notification settings
  • Any uploaded content or files
  • Location data and preferences

How to Delete Your Account

Method 1: Delete Account in the App (Recommended)

You can delete your account directly from within the Primal Defender mobile app:

  1. Open the Primal Defender app on your mobile device
  2. Tap the "Profile" tab at the bottom of the screen
  3. Look for "Account Settings" or "Manage Account"
  4. Tap "Delete Account" or "Close Account"
  5. Follow the confirmation prompts to permanently delete your account

Note: The account deletion feature follows Clerk's standard user management interface. If you don't see the delete option, make sure you're using the latest version of the app.

Method 2: Email Support (Backup Option)

If you're unable to delete your account through the app, you can email our support team:

Please include your account email address and full name to help us verify your identity.

Processing Timeline

  • In-app deletion: Immediate (account deleted instantly)
  • Email requests: Processed within 2-3 business days
  • Data removal: Complete within 30 days as required by law

Alternative Options

Before requesting full account deletion, consider these alternatives:

Temporary Deactivation

Temporarily disable your account while preserving your data for future reactivation.

Data Export

Download a copy of your progress data before deletion to keep for your records.

Privacy Settings Update

Adjust your privacy settings to limit data collection while keeping your account active.

Data Retention Exceptions

In certain circumstances, we may retain some information even after account deletion:

  • Legal compliance requirements (tax records, legal disputes)
  • Fraud prevention and security purposes
  • Aggregated, anonymized data for research and analytics
  • Backup systems (automatically purged within 90 days)
